David Joseph Blanton, b abt 1833 - d 26 Feb 1865 in Jackson Hospital, Richmond, VA (He is buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Sect. W., Grave 52 in Richmond.  He served in the CSA under Capt. S. R. Congdon, 26th Regiment, Co. K., and enlisted at Blanton's Crossroads, SC.)

He married Celia Alice Williamson, b 24 Dec 1824 - d 4 Mar 1907.

James Madison Blanton b. 22 Jul 1859 - d. 31 Dec 1911, m. Martha Strickland.
Joseph O. Blanton, b. 16 oct 1861 - d. 22 Dec 1881.
Nancy Orilla Blanton b. 4 Nov 1856 - d. 29 Dec. 1936, m. John Richard Harrelson -- their pictures are also on the site.
Susan Jane Blanton b. 4 Jul 1865 - d. 9 Jun 1937, m. Cornelius Benjamin Todd.

Celia m. second Edward W. Harrelson

In the 1870 Census, Celia Blanton is shown in the Bayboro section of the Horry County, SC Census, as family No. 284, with children Nancy O., Madison, Joseph, and Susan J. She lived in the Placard (Playcard) area near Loris.
