Will of William H. J. Lawrimore

County of Horry       )       WILL

IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN.

I, William H. J. Lawrimore, of the County of Horry, and State aforesaid, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and fully sensible of the uncertainty of life and of the certainty of death, do make, publish and declare the following to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills, if any, by me at any time made.

I.    It is my will and desire that at my death my body be given Christian burial, and that as soon after my death as may be practical all of my just debts, including doctor's bills and burial expenses, be paid by my Executor, hereinafter named, out of my personal property.

II.   I give and bequeath to my grandsons, Joseph Henry Lawrimore and Willie Devaun Lawrimore (sons of my son Willie J. Lawrimore), all of my present real estate consisting of sixty-seven (67) acres of land, where I now reside and known as my home place, bounded as follows: North and West by lands of A. R. Singleton; East by lands now owned by Robert Richardson, and South by lands of Eddy Lake Cypress Co.; subject, nevertheless, to the provisions of Item VI of this instrument.

III.    I give and bequeath to my grandson Joseph Henry Lawrimore, one bed-stead and bedding known as "my bed".

IV.   I give and bequeath to my step-daughter, M. J. Singleton, one bed-stead and bedding.

V.   I give and bequeath to my son, Willie J. Lawrimore, all the rest and residue of my estate, whether the same be real, personal or mixed, subject, nevertheless, to the provisions of Item VI of this instrument.

VI.   I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Ann H. Lawrimore, in case she should survive me, for and during her natural life only, all of my property - real, personal or mixed, except that portion of my personal property devised in items III and IV of this Will. The property mentioned in this Item to be used by my said wife, in case she survives me, during her natural life for her care, support and maintenance, and at her death to be subject to the provision hereinbefore contained.

VII.   Lastly, I nominate, constitute and appoint Willie J. Lawrimore to be sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by William H. J. Lawrimore to be his last Will and Testament, this the 30th day of March A.D. 1911, and of the Independence of the United States the 135th.
